This is still an issue. The stats track your average exp based on premium not your non premium scores.

It's not an issue. There are no leader boards. Your stats don't mean anything, so don't worry about it.

Are stats really that improtant in a made up science fiction world?

I'd rather they concentrated on getting the game to run as advertised before the beta starts in what? 4-5 hours?

Does it really matter who cares about it? It should be accurate otherwise there's no point in having one in the first place. Your apathy regarding the matter just because you (admittedly) won't be on the leaderboards is kinda sad. Attitudes like that don't benefit anyone.

his point was. You can only have a fair system if the mechanics of it are not being abused. Online games have been known for abusing in game mechanics to "cheat" the boards. Thus having a leaderboard only usually says "hey look at me, I kill swap, cheat or abuse the system cause my name here matters!". I would be content if they removed the board entirely, unless you are gonna police each game for abuse. It's no difff than the guys with 13 KDR, because they quit out of a match before they die. They are not really that good, they just hate to die so quit and thus it boosts a stat they like to flex.

Does rank really indicate skill level?
It seems to me that ranks are like medals in wartime.
Not everyone who gets them deserves it the most.

There will be eventually leaderboards as Paul mentioned.

I also agree with the quitting out to protect your KDR. If you disconnect and get destroyed that should be counted as a death.
