If you actually knew me you'd know that I'm not that kind of person. The units and players I named are people I respect in the community for they are legitimately good at the game. The thread I created was intended to be a light-hearted lampoon topic where people could talk about such players, in contrast to the threads you're alluding to. Also, I don't believe I've ever had a topic locked before, so you must be mistaking me with somebody else.

And I do think that played a significant role. The forum today has been one coc breach after another.

Yes, but that´s part of the point. I and other don´t know you (which is why I admitted the possibility that it may only be your style) Most here don´t really care who the others are, I know for me 99% of the members here are just a random assortment of pixels on my screen. While I attempt to read those threads I do open carefully, misunderstandings happen, especially in text where tone of voice and body language are not present. I have quite a few RL friends that I met on forums and wanted to see die in a fire (figuratively, of course), until iI did meet them in RL

Entirely possible, and I respectfully apologize if that is the case. I´m used to tying avatars to persons, something that is nearly impossible here.

Look, not been having a good day, as well as, well, let's just say other topics violating the CoC as well too have kept me on edge.

For some reason, I feel that this was just a ploy to mess with me, oh well. Unlocking your thread and you can do whatever you want with it, edit to fix it, etc.

I'm just going to log off for awhile and consider how people are today in the world.

Derek, I was (at least) one of the people who reported it, please don´t beat yourself up over it any more than I´m beating myself up, the mistake is as much mine as it was yours.

And as we´ve both alluded to, today was maybe just not the right day to start that thread due to external circumstances.

And yes, big props for unlocking it. Being a man doesn´t mean not making mistakes, it means recognizing them, accepting them, and acting accordingly to rectify them, and I don´t think anyone can find fault with you in this respect.

...so that's why it was locked. It was the connection to the thread about cheating that made it too touchy.
