[Luminis]

There's really only three 'Mechs that I'm really aching for.



The Warhammer IIC. I love my current Warhammers so much, I just want more

On the other hand, we got the Zeus X and the Mad Cat Mk. III




Those are nostalgia picks for me. Dark Age 'Mechs don't seem to be popular in the least, but I used to play the MechWarrior: Dark Age table top game when I was younger. You know, the Clix based one that took a nose dive and died eventually? That one. It used to be really, really popular where I lived back then and I enjoyed it a lot.

The two miniatures that captivated me the most were two promotional 'Mechs. The Mad Cat Mk. III of Mason Dunne and the Zeus X of Nikol Brahe. As a kid (i was 14 or 15 back then), it wasn't as easy to just grab one off of ebay, so I admired those promos even more, 'cause there were only two or three guys that actually had a Mason Dunne - which was used to wreck face a lot. Nikol Brahe was actually only owned by one person and, while not as memorable in terms of power, was just super rare and looked so cool to us, back then.

Sigh... Good ol' days.

Despite probably being not very good in this game, I want the Super Nova. Aside from that, most of my favorite mechs are in game now. IIC versions of the Marauder and Warhammer would be nice, too.

For me - almost all Clan omnis (except Linebacker, Pouncer, Phantom, Crossbow, Naga and Kingfisher off the top of my mind, otherwise I am quite a collector), then Word of Blake http://www.sarna.net...elestial_series omnis (best omnis of the Inner Sphere IMO). Battlemechs I am not so sure about. Maybe http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Blood_Kite Then I do not know... protomechs? More mobile than Elementals but still comparable in size, movement through buildings, ambushes, swarming and swooping around the battlefield... Should be fun, quiaff?

I want the Sunder, it is pretty much the last of the Mechs I am desperate for. Although I don't want it designed by Alex, they should just use this as the model including the walking animation!!

I dunno, when I asked during a town hall in the middle of last year, Russ said IS omnis weren't going to be for awhile yet. Still, my main concern is that if and when they finally do get to the Raptor that they base the design on the Raptor II just like Alex based his Stalker on the Stalker II (which he penned) and the Locust on the Gûn (which he also penned). I want it to be based on the Raptor I, because the entire reason I want the Raptor is because of how the Raptor I looks.

I doubt they would do that. The Stalker vs Stalker II is a bit different, since the Stalker II is basically the same design but with proportions to look less cartoony. The Raptor is very different looking to the Raptor II, so I think they'd probably not replace the Raptor I's design.
