Urbies are the most OP mech in the game.
Can solo 12 atlases... atlie...? .. atli..... assaults, and still win.

Urbanmech is fun, not great. Was a much better mech with its older quirks, but PGI felt it had to be nerfed, more lol.

They'd be fine if it wasn't so freakin' expensive to 'fix' them. I mean, you have to pull that 60 engine, and you have to go with an XL engine.

Now, if you do fix them, they can spread damage better than any other mech in the game which is pretty sweet, and there is that AC20 urbie which is just all kinds of evil coming out of a light

My VERY FIRST EVER drop in an Urbanmech? 3 Kills. Notice, I'm NOT exactly a member of the tryhard club. NO BASIC SKILLS, three kills. That's an AC/2 and 3 (or 4?) small lasers.

Read that again. Urbie. XL 180. AC/2. Some small lasers. A JJ or two. Laughable max armor for a 30-tonner. THREE DEAD ENEMY MECHS IN ITS WAKE.

Yeah, actually, it IS a gimmick. We still need the Deputy Dog hero mech, BTW, PGI! Totes gimmick, and I'm REALLY impressed that PGI went ahead and produced it for us. But it CAN be fun, and in potato tier it's often underestimated. Hell, I like the things.

Urbie: still the only 'Mech I went out of my way to buy duplicates of. It's got no business at all being so much damn fun, but it is and I love it.

The problem with adding an Urbie hero is that it implies not EVERY Urbie is a hero.

I don't play them (yet), but I like seeing them in-game. They are a reminder that the fun is still alive, and the meta is not all there is to it.

Those vids are dumb, clearly going against ultra noobs they barely ever shoot back it's like they are still learning how to aim and fire.

The mech is still garbage and always will be.

Not to mention always showing a mech thats already cored it's not that hard to finish off a mech that way.
