I believe the Urbanmeprechaun Movement has gathered sufficient Steam (no pun intended) that it will at least be considered for inclusion as the Grand Prize in next year's event.

Cool event, but I really do feel the grand should be grand, e.g. a Mech. It's always something people talk about, I never got it but it's nice to hear people picking it up.

Sorry to hear that, but that wasnt my point, it was just about the fact that the first says MC: 10 MC and the second just 10 MC ^^

Thank you for the fun event! It's been a real hoot so far, and I happen to love green as my color so it works out quite well. Not such great camouflage with my Lime Green Jade paint, but it's just made me play smarter. Got the green beer right off the bat, and it is now a fixture to remain in my mech. And of course, the Kodiak bonus and MC and C-bill schwagg is most excellent! Hell.. I even have green lightbulbs in my mech now, that's fun. Green means GO!


To all you ungrateful salty little turds... PGI does not put on these events so that YOU in particular get "what you want", it's free schwagg, take it for what it is and stop complaining. It might even be something you could enjoy, IF you were to stop being so damn negative about everything. Ex: "But I want mech bays", "What... no free mech?", "What no green paint?"

1)Free stuff is always welcome! Thanks for it.
2)Green beer? Really? No reason to go back online for this "event" - got a lot of trash already.

P.S. While I'm really appreciate those fee stuff it will not make me waste whole weekend in MWO. So its bad idea to increase online....

It's a chance to win some free stuff. 90% of it useless, but then there's MC and premium thrown in. Not a terrible event, not a great one, just is what it is.

I do like events like this that last a long time, and have lackluster prizes, so I can not feel guilty about using the time to do other things. If I get a few prizes, play a few matches, great. If not? I missed a bunch of coolant pods and worthless GXP, no big deal.

PGI may want to actually make events that cause people to want to play over doing other things....but that's up to them. If they're trying to keep players from getting too addicted or into MWO, they're doing a top-notch job.

GXP may be useless to you but it is not to me. I recently returned to the game after close to 5 years. I needed to unlock Radar Derp to be on equal terms with some of you guys. The GXP bonuses shortened my grind time considerably in doing that so they were very welcome.

In addition, C-Bills are always good, premium time is nice. I can do without all the cockpit stuff but some people like them so they are good prizes for some. It is kind of a something for everyone event.

Well, I guess it's time to play some CW to get those that I still can.

That dude is high on something illegal. Don't pay attention to him. The most similar thing to his statement that is actually true is that in a past town hall Russ said they were gonna change CW rewards. Didn't say when, didn't say how. They are obviously withholding mechbays in bag events, but no one said anything about making them MC-only.

Love these events. I just wish we weren't limited to 100. I know that's still a crap ton but unlimited would be awesome. I sincerely doubt anybody will play 2000 matches in a week . BTW. 150 match score is easy with an 8 SRM-6 Archer 5W. Nothin like 1 shotting a King Crab !
