so i completed the personal challenge yesterday. the 5000 gxp prize helped finish unlocking the last modules and now the pilot trees are complete with 1000+ gxp left in the pile. aside from spending it on leveling mechs, i dont see much point in having now that there is nothing to spend it on. so we need more modules and other things to spend it on.

Master new mechs with GXP, why bring a basiced mech on your first try out with it when it could be masted? :P

or Jace use said GXP to maybe get all the modules unlocked, I know you don't. :)

they are all unlocked and max level. also most of my mech inventory is already mastered 50/60 roughly.

Agree with OP, we need more ways to spend our GXP...the skill tree needs a big revamp. I would even convert XP to gxp in order to choose my skill path like other MMOs have. Could be a big money maker for PGI.

Hmm... maybe there could be some group of colors or patterns that are GXP unlockable.

I'm sitting on over 375k GXP. All modules are unlocked and fully leveled. Using GXP to level out a Mech defeats the fun of leveling out a Mech. GXP prizes and rewards are worse than flamers from grab bags, for me.

But, I guess some people still need them.

We absolutely need new sinks for GXP and c-bills. I am sitting on pile of 775k GXP and 1.27bil c-bills and have no use for them. Those numbers could do a lot of good if invested into something but not until we get that option to begin with.

Hell I think I got 1.5 mil GXP and while I don't have all modules maxed out, I don't think that would make much of a dent in there.

Other than Range / Cooldown Modules

We should have weapn heat gen / spread / velocity etc modules.

We can have mech torso twist speed / range / mech acceleration etc modules

We can have as many new modules as with types of quirks.

Sure to suck up all those additional GXP.

Well, at one point there was a module trade off system in place, which actually would have made for a much better system than the straight up 'improvement' modules we have now. But like anything else, people bitched and whined so it was removed. There could be a significantly higher number of modules right now if people hadn't whined about them. They were definitely not perfect on their first implementation but that only meant the number needed to be played with. The trade offs were roughly 1:1 figures, but if they had given a bonus for a smaller penalty instead they would have worked far better.

Heat gen modules are not a good idea imo. Every other stat is, but not heat gen. Its too important, would be regarded as essential.. I guess you could create them at a low value, like 2.5 - 5% but id personally leave them out.

I would like to see another tier added after Master, but the cost should be high, like 50k+ per box.

Would be cool if our units have levels and new features gained on leveling up then we could donate our gxp to our units....
