Maybe this is a test model showing the Cat with "all the fixins" on it?
Also, will I FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINALLY be able to swap camo on my Founder's Catapult!? It's been 3 years already!?

I kinda do.
And this isn't the K2 is it? It looks like a different variant. K2 doesn't have dual AMS, and it only has two torso energy points.
So if this isn't the K2, and a new variant, I would suspect that all catapults have the Founder's nose cone now.
Are all atlases going to have the founders atlas face? No? So why do the catapults? But then again, it could just be a test-a-pult that has all weapon and visual possibilities like Suko said. Minus the missile pods.

I would love to have the beak, but I understand it's founders only as without those guys, no game.

Like I said, I couldn't care and I have all the Founder's mechs. I doubt they are going to override the unique geometry on any of them though. I also doubt they are going to release another Hero/variant of the Catapult before they even start selling Clan heroes seperately.

O well I know this is a draft design, but this is a re-visit and PGI should know better by now. (sigh) I guess if PGI accepted needing a full sized LRM20 Box launcher for a single two tube SRM/Streak, this would be a logical progression for energy weapons.

PPCs used to have this bulk, and when they got scaled down, people lost their minds. Big PPCs are a concession to player requests. We don't know if lasers will be as big as the ppcs.

I would point out that this thing clearly shows two AC/10 and two PPCs and two AMS...
I think it's just a haxx0rz build demonstrating everything.

Since they rebuilt the model from the ground up, I am going to take a gamble and assume they actually got the size right, since it was largely the progenitor of the Grand Rescale.
