heres an idea. let PGI decide what mechs to put in when. if they offer up a community poll to see how many people want what mechs, vote in it. they are also including a cash and game credit shop with next to no info on what will be in it (besides items that WONT give people a leg up).

I don't know about must. That's a bit strong. But I'll agree the Orion is iconic afaic. Plenty of better mechs than Firestarter, Blackjack and Banshee to lobby for imho tho.

3/4 good suggestions, as we don't yet have a Mech at 45, 75, or 95 tons. The Firestarter we don't need yet though, as we already have 2 Mechs at 35 tons. They should aim for a 20 or 30 ton Mech to be the next Light.

We're currently missing:
20, 30, 45, 55, 75, 90, 95
^ We should want these to be the weights of future Mechs until they are all covered. The more weights that are covered, the more options we have in the weight vs speed department.

55 tons has always been the sweet spot for medium mechs, and I'd really like to see one at that weight.

Banshee is an amazing Assault mech. +1 for having that on the list.
