What are they for? some future application to the mode? Right now they are just cover.

For those that havent played it or dont know what Domination mode is about, its very similar to Team King of the Hill.

It can be fun once everyone figures out what to do

From the Patch Notes:

"Each team also has control over two Mobile Field Bases, which can be destroyed by enemy forces. Destroying an MFB will result in a 15-second penalty being added to your opponents timer. Timers cannot exceed 1:00 in duration, so destroying an MFB while the match is already well underway will maximize the potential advantage gained from destroying them."

If you're talking about the 2 base on either side in DOM gamemode.

If the enemy team has 30 seconds left before they cap the satdish and you destroy 1 of their bases it adds 15 seconds
to their countdown timer and now they have 45 seconds, destroy another base and they have a full minute back.

I know, but they seem to be ignored often, but do provide some cover until destroyed. Most don't realize they can be destroyed thus adding time to the enemy because they don't know the mode or haven't played it enough to develop strategies for it.

I have played a few that ended quickly because people didn't know what to do and the cap timer ran down unopposed when a single shot would have stopped it for a bit anyways

EDIT I actually knew what the bases were for, I just wanted to post so OTHERS than maybe didn't understand what was going on would pick up on this. Thanks for your replies folks.
