Have no clue which mechs to master/buy .
I do have Stalkers, Marauders, Thunderbolts, Enforcers, Firestarters and Hunchbacks so far.
Not sure what would make a good drop deck for CW.
I looked on the metamechs site but dunno if those are the best dropdecks...
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thank you!

Models I have so far:
Firestarters: FS9-S, FS9-H, FS9-E
Stalkers: STK-4N, STK-3H, STK-M
Thunderbolts: TDR-9SE, TDR-5S, TDR-5SS
Marauders: MAD-3R, MAD-5M, MAD-5D
Enforcers: ENF-5P,ENF-4R, ENF-4P
I think Hunchbacks are bad for CW so models don't matter I think.
The thing is I can buy something else as needed that's why I asked for some good CW Drop Decks in general.
Most of the ones I have are mastered.

2) Stalker 4N or 3H + TDR-9SE + Mad-3R (i did look on metamechs for this, as i don't own Marauders and don't know their builds.)+FS9-S - 260 tonns
Also don't know about enforcers, same as with marauders.

Energy - Blackjack, Grasshopper, Black Knight, Battlemaster, Banshee
Ballistics - Jagermech, Mauler, maybe still the Banshee
Missiles - generally tough in CW. If you feel comfortable with SRMs go for the Hunchback 4SP or Griffins.
The Crab might also be good, cant say really since I do not see it often.

If the former, you have a few options:
Thunderbolts
Quickdraws
Grasshoppers
Black Knights
Blackjacks
You can frontload your tonnage with an assault, but you have to make the best of it or else it's not worth it (usually it forces you to bring a light mech in your deck later on, and lights are just meh in CW)
Banshee
Battlemaster(s)
Stalker(s)
Mauler

If you want mechs that are just good enough but not widely accepted as "best",
- avoid brawlers (ON1, CN9, GRF, FS9, etc) until you really know your way around the CW maps
- avoid very slow mechs (like the KGC and AS7)
- avoid fragile mechs (like the WVR's delicate arm, or the CTF and AWS with their cripplingly huge profiles)
- avoid LRMs
- stick mostly to LPL and LL.
That leaves you with stuff like Marauder, Warhammer, Rifleman, Hunchback, Jager, Jester/K2, Crab, Enforcer, maybe Shadowhawk, plus others that slip my mind.

I think I'll go for blackjacks next since they seem to be good now.
Maybe Black knights after. I see them in normal games and they look so cool imo lol.

Black knight (3LPL 5ML or 9MPL)
blackjack (BJ-3 2PPC 4ML 2JJ; BJ-1X 6ML 2MPL)
both are amazing energy mechs
Long version:
I'm one of the steam newbies, but have been playing regularly since it dropped on steam and have been able to build up a decent dropdeck for CW. I usually average 1K-1500 damage and 3-6 kills per drop, which I believe is about average. Not that I'm a great pilot or anything by any means. At any rate, the black knight is just an amazing mech at CW. I have two setups for mine, depending on where we drop: one with 3 LPL and 5 ML, the other with 9MPL (split 4 and 5 groups to avoid ghost heat). Those things are just amazing damage dealers and fairly tanky as well. Admittedly, the 3 LPL build isn't quite as tanky, as I have to run an XL to get the tonnage, but it still performs. I also second the blackjack as a great CW mech. I run two in my dropdeck, a BJ-3 and a B-1X. The BJ3 I have set up as a sniper build, with those PPC quirks it is AMAZING (2 PPC, 4ML). I came THIS close to the one-mech challenge on a CW drop yesterday with that mech, did around 800 dmg and 5 kills. But best of all, I was able to distract the other team and get them to chase me, which meant drawing fire from my team. The speed and maneuverability of the BJ-1X is also fantastic as a med/short range skirmisher (6ML, 2MPL). Just wait for the fight to get heated up, and run around backshooting the red doritos. If it had jumpjets, it would just be ridiculously OP. My other mech in the deck is a mauler MX90 dakka. There are better assaults out there, but it came with the resistance 2 pack and it performs pretty well. Its a little slow, but thats really the biggest drawback to it. Hope that helps some!

A good drop would also include the Raven 3L, (never underestimate a light!) possibly even the Quickdraw - 4G.
