Nothing much to say about getting hit by 8 flamers, instantly hitting 90% heat and just watching the Dire slaughtering you. You shoot back you shutdown and die. You don't shoot you die. Who ever thought of this in PGI team should get FIRED! .. by 8 flamers or more.

I should have said that I was in Stalker with a STD 300 in it, so I couldn't get away. Clearly i made a mistake posting about this and I'm so sorry guys, this was my first and last post since open beta.

Yeah, it is well known that Dire Wolfs are ultra fast and mobile platforms that you cannot escape once they get close to you.

Also, you can fire forever if you watch your heat, and shoot under 10% of your firepower...but the heat bar does seem to be bugged when it comes to Flamers.

While I'm sure that fight was frustrating you have to tip your hat to the the DW pilot brave (or foolish) enough to devote 8 of his energy hardpoints to something that he would rarely get to use.

I actually had 8x flamers in the arms of my DWF-W for a while because of leftover slots and tonnage on a build. If I had known that's the new meta, I would have boated MGs and DHS and went with that.
