Despite the issue he had with flamers, I suspect the result wouldn't have ended much better for him had said DWF been packing quad UAC10's instead. Cabin ventilation wouldn't have been an issue...

Edit:
I should have said that I was in Stalker with a STD 300 in it, so I couldn't get away. Clearly i made a mistake posting about this and I'm so sorry guys, this was my first and last post since open beta.
No need to throw toys out the pram and go off in a huff.
Your mistake wasn't posting about this, it was getting all angry about a mechanic that may well be broken without considering what you could've done to not get flame grilled

WRONG. The only thing that keeps it from beeing op, is the low flamer range.
I'd use one to this day, if the engine block wasnt a joke, only thing thats ever stopped me happily rolling a Dire over a Fatlas, is the pathetic engine block.

It's like saying, "She's gonna plaster that cake in my face and I can't escape! Waaah!"

...Dude, for real?

I mean, c'mon, it's only 90 meters. You should be able to kill nearly anything before it gets that close to you, and if it's a Light, then it shouldn't be able to flame you for long before your allies chase it away.
The only way flamers work is if you're stupid or running around by yourself. But I repeat myself.
I'm still cracking up over this thread.
It reminds me of this old B.C. Comics:

Yeah, I was wondering if an EXE-D build would go for laughs. I might be crazy enough to try it at some point. I just threw weapons at it in Smurfy to see what I might get to stick.

Not optimal I'm sure. But MASC just might make it unexpected. Or still dead. Either way, fun times.
