I don't want to sound ungrateful, the mech looks really good, but Its to late to make the ppc barrels a bit longer? like the original ones? Somewhat like the cockpit of the warhammer.

They are black so i guess the modification does not afect the camo paterns.

PPCs do still need some consistently. Making them a bit bigger for the K2 is fine and something that most people want. But they still need to fit with the game.

The old model is ridiculous when compared to PPCs on the Panther or the Nova.

Different manufacturers are better at making PPCs more compact than others. Well, it is something to imagine...I mean consider.

Eh, there's more than one manufacturer of PPCs. No reason they have to all be the same.

PGI has gotten singed before for really unfortunate lenses/camera angles making 'mechs look wonky. Let's see a few more images before we start asking for changes.

No, actually the Panther and Nova's (and egads firestarters and blackjacks) are ridiculous compared to the glorious PPCs that came with the K2, AWS (new ones look like butt) and Banshee.

Newsflash to all? a 7 ton gun? Is gonna be pretty dang big. Especially on a mech like the Panther where it's 1/5 of it's total mass.

In a franchise where mechs fly through the air like birds (LAMs... Ugh *shiver*) and ammo magically navigates through a mech's legs to it's arm cannon, I can suspend disbelief a bit in imagining a PPC can be made smaller for smaller mechs.

Sure I would like a small mech to have a huge cannon scale wise (like a Panther carrying a PPC cannon that looks less like a tack on flashlight, and more like the right arm of a Vindicator), but I can forgive some scale fudging for the sake of ease of design or quickness of implementation.

To me there is worse corner cutting than tacking on a small PPC vs making a whole new PPC arm for a mech. One such example (IMO) is the Jenner IIC receiving an IS Jenner cockpit with slightly different monitors. It should have had a whole different interior cockpit view to match the exterior.

Another Example, and possibly the worst, is Catapult VCRs... Yikes! That needs no explanation by now.

P.S. I'm still glad the K2 recieved bigger PPCs though

Anyway, it is really all subjective, but some weapon scale fudging is ok (even if a few to go a bit too small).

At least they fixed it. I'm happy about that.

I'm kind of puzzled why they didn't just go back to the originals, which were universally loved. To have something in MWO that is universally loved is like seeing a shooting star while spotting a unicorn as the first snow falls under a blue moon. It's fairly rare. So I'm surprised they didn't just give people what they'd been asking for.
