I'd still run 4 HBK-4SPs in CW(I already run 2 when I'm not leveling mechs), though I'd consider switching down to 5 ML and Bap. Depends entirely on if they ever actually improve the mode, in its current state a bit more range and an ECM kill is handy.

If I really could have only one 'mech, I'd take my hare-brained mixed-build Shadow Hawk.

At least I'd get some variety in gameplay. If I had to boat one weapon system only, I'd probably quit the game in a week.

I love the fact that as I read through others' posts I find that I am saying to myself things like "oh, yeah I forgot about the Griffin" or "Doh, the HB is a heck of choice", etc.

I am currently up to 114 mechs and I do play a lot of em, a lot. Variety is the spice of life. Choosing 1 and only 1 is too hard.

Oh yeah, I also forgot: The Crab 27SL (any build as long as it is fast and jumps). Oh! and the BJ-3. How could I forget the Black Jack?!

I just thought it would an interesting subject and to be honest most people can decide. You don't know what map you will get when you go into a Quick play , so I guess I am saying what is your one and only best off ever Mech BFF , only allowed one choice , one load out , not a whole variant. Its not that easy is it ?...

Oh and it has to be current and available in the game now.

Because its the best thing i ever invented, the gift that keeps on giving through every quirk pass. People scoffed at the XL Banshee back then (i created this the same day LPL ghost heat changed from 2 to 3), and now its all over the place.

If I could only have one mech, it would have to be my 5 med pulse cicada 2B. This thing is just a monster in brawls and at short range peek a boo trading, and is IMO a very underrated mech.

I do like that Cicada 2B, but oddly enough, I think I prefer the 6 MLaser 2A over it. I think it is just the additional range (plus energy duration is short). If I do go for a MPLaser medium mech build, I tend to prefer the 6MPLaser Crab 27B.

Hunchback of course. As for which verient, that's tough, the 4G is great at spanking people up close. However, if we are talking stock and can't change it up, I'd probably go for the 4H because the AC10 gives it decent range and has enough MLs for extended fights.

I like the 2A too. However, the short range DPS of the 2B very few mechs can match. Plus, I just love the sound and feeling of wubs.

It was my first mech in the game and it can stand toe to toe with mechs a weight class heavier. Although I'm thinking of changing it to this

A bit slower, but otherwise average speed for a medium when you count speed tweak.

An XL? Really? I much prefer my 4xLPL and a TAG for all the bonuses, runs much cooler and resist much more too. I had a 7 kills game yesterday, woo!
