Just curious... no real worry other than I may constantly be on the fence between T3 and T2 switching back and forth without control... Posted Image

More seriously I went up lately playing stronger mechs to be able to score some goodies in the event but when I'll go back playing more fragile and less powerful ones I think I will pretty stay where I will be at that time, I mean very close to switching to T2.

Other than the Atlas getting a Strawberry Shortcake skin, I don't think there's much difference.

Your matches will probably be more consistent at lower population hours, because you won't vacillate between playing Tier 5 players and Tier 1 players.

I just got here, so only got a few games. I think it depends on what you are playing and when. I solo PUG heavily, and there are some time zones where the derp is strong.

Other than derp-strong times, the positive stuff is that if you are a team player, teams do appear to play more together. Otherwise, it's so far similar to Tier 3. Just less people making rookie mistakes.

Well there no T5s and you are less likely to see T4s so your days of running into mechs that will try to start down your alphas without returning fire will come to an end.

More T1s means you get better, faster.

T2 means that you leveled up to the next XP threshold.

It's not much different than T3.

You are going to get farmed so hard by leet tryhards you better bring laser vomit every round or you'll get rekt in a second by the aimbot like aim in tier 2.

In this case, welcome back to T3! :D

Honestly, it's an over all better experience. Fewer people whining about teammates, better coordination, fewer games being dragged out excessively.

10/10 would recommend advancing.

Less LRMS, well when the archer craze drops, and more meta builds. Way more 500m+ fighting. Brawling is incredibly difficult once you hit 1 and 2.

The biggest issue, more hiding and more playing for yourself instead of the team. The cbill grind in MWO forces this though.

I'd say your average game will not be so different. People tend to group up a little better, but still not too well. Individual skill level somewhat better, team play still mediocre. NASCAR still alive. You'll still see a mixture of meta boats and non-optimal fun builds.

One distinct difference is that at T3 you'll occasionally face T5 guys, while that's strictly not possible at T2. So the absolute worst terribad behaviours will vanish.

But as far as the typical game where you mostly face T2 people vs. T3 people earlier, not a huge difference. You'll need to be a little more careful, as you'll be punished a bit quicker for errors.

Honestly I haven't noticed any difference between tier 3 and tier 2 in gameplay terms (on average), I have however noted a much higher rate of people moaning in chat..

It's like T3, only 1 less.

Tier 2?

...

A wrong turn or a wrong shift in group or even poke can cost you your CT or ST.

And that's from someone who knows a thing or two about where enemy location is.
