Another nice, easy, casual event. Free stuff if you do put a little time in, nothing crazy so you feel you have to. I like these, because I can just go for the prizes I find worth it, not frustrate myself and grind all weekend if I'm not into it. Some of the older events promoted burnout, these newer ones leave room to walk away and enjoy life outside MWO, while still getting a chance at some goodies.

It's just too damn slow for me te be any kind of a brawler.

How fast is fast enough? With a max sized XL (which admittedly is a horrid idea on this mech for brawling in the first place) it can hit just shy of 80km/h before speed tweak, putting it in the same range as the original clan heavy mechs. Something like ARC-5S

Initial opinion --

Okay... so I see PGI dropped an extra event on us with no rest time inbetween. Then they made it 5 KMDD per day average, instead of just 4 KMDD per day. If it weren't for those two irritations, I would have said this event was perfect.

Other than that, I'm glad to see some more (as in, a useful chunk of) MC up for earning, as well as some rather nice cockpit items. I particularly like that a warhorn is up for grabs as well. I want to collect them all, so thanks PGI for making another mostly reasonable event!!!

Yeah I gave it a spin and was only getting 10-15 fps. Disappointing, but not unexpected. Ah well, plenty of basketball to watch this weekend!

Uhm... Any chance you set all of MWO's graphics settings to 'Low' first, and used a resolution of no more than '1280x800', before you tested it full-on?
