No, but I hate playing windowed/low res. My home monitors are 1920x1200 -- anything less than 1080p just hurts.

I was also having some weird mouse/KB issues, and I didn't really want to dig into someone else's computer to deal with it.

I should probably take a break anyhow. Back to back event weekends tend to burn me out.

ugh, these events bring out the worst players. You know who they are, too. As soon as they die, they quit the match to start messing up some else's game.

It may not have been me, but it's a build I run and and do about as well in. They assume you're all LRMS and close in for the kill, then SPLAT

Completed my KMD with only 16 out of 40 assists. I wonder why do some people have a problem with KMD? Ironically I always have a problem with assists than killing mechs fast.

It depends on play-style and mech. When I want to get assists, I usually play lights and run around and harass everyone, but it's more difficult (for me anyway) to get KMDD in lights. When I want KMDD, I switch to heavier mechs that have high DPS and then it's fairly easy to rack them up.

I've also found you also can't go all Leroy Jenkins with guns blazing at the first mech you see hoping to do the most damage before it goes down or you will get flattened pretty quickly.

I enjoy these leaderboard events, something for everyone and you don't have to complete everything to get something. Thanks!

Srm36 jenner IIc... i have gotten 3-4 kmds in some games

Final Review --

Good event, and I managed to get everything. My thanks even to one MechWarrior who I ran into during a round for helping me pick up an achievement.

Unfortunately, I was forced to break out my LRM Boat to have any chance at finishing the KMDD Count. Is there any chance on future events that we could also have a Killing Blow Count at the same time as the KMDD Count? That should satisfy at least some who are upset that it was a total flipover. Heck, maybe PGI could even provide some appropriate rewards to go with that one too?

Oh well... now I need some serious rest time. See you all at the next event!
