I as well experienced no issue with it not working with the Logitech software. In my case it worked a little too well.

I also mapped the wheel tilt to the vision modes. I also used the wheel scroll to control zoom levels. I found that when zooming, it would switch to a vision mode I didn't want (eg. night vision on plains day, or heat vision in caustic). Probably just me putting slight pressure to the sides when scrolling.

Turned it off after awhile. May try it again in the future though.

Still getting use to this mouse anyway.

Win10 user, test the G700s and currently using the G502.
Assuming both mice had their buttons properly assigned *assuming the key works in MWO* then they work just fine.

Just make sure if you configure profile 3 for MWO, that you use profile 3 when you're playing.

I also have the G700s and discovered that one of the wierd things it does is that the on-board profiles can be completely different from the automatic (i.e. when it is plugged in via USB) profiles. I had only mapped buttons on one mode and then when I switched modes (unplugged vs. plugged in) it would automatically switch the button maps. You can set profiles for the left scroll/right scroll mouse buttons in either, but the functionality is different. Another odd quirk to it is that if you want to set the scroll button to a command, do it on the opposite side of where you are actually pushing the button in the logitec software view. For example, if you press the mouse wheel to the right, the logitec button for that is actually on the left side of the mouse wheel where the actual "click" would occur, not where you are pressing it.

I found that the easy way to do this is to just set both profiles to the same configuration and disable all the secondary profiles in the logitec software. Another logitec fail is that the on-board profile does not allow you to set a time delay or to have a command repeat when holding down the button. You can only do that on the profile when the mouse is plugged in to the USB port.

I can also confirm the lag issue with the g700s. I had a multiple keyboard command set up on a button to rotate fire 4 UAC5s as quickly as possible. Essentially chain firing them but double clicking each one. Works flawlessly in the training grounds, but when used in an actual drop, the lag hits and it doesnt work. Just something to think about when you are building in lag to keyboard commands in the logitec software. One other thing to know is that you have to have at least 0.1 delay between key press and key release, or it doesnt actually register that the key was pressed.

Hope some of that rambling helps with your key binding issue!

I always used uberoptions (http://uberoptions.net/) to diddle with my Logitech mice but it looks like it hasn't been updated in a long while. Is there not a way in the Logitech driver options to assign keystrokes to the tilt/other buttons for specific applications? If there is, you could go that route...

Logitech Gaming Software LGS

NOT Setpoint!!!

(didnt read the thread, but i had problems and found out there is a big difference between setpoint and LGS and you dont need uberoptions anymore)
