I wouldn't be surprised if they continued the rolling out of the unseen, and get the Crusader out of the way, right here and now.

Now that the legal issues are under control, it's really the most obvious mech to add. (As the other remaining unseen have tonnage issues vs. what people apparently want to play in MWO.)

I expect we will have our answer in the rumoured Town Hall a few days from now. But new variants and hero mechs seems like an obvious way to make the most of the great rescaling effort and earn some money.

Locust is already in the game, i dont get it ? You want a blue one, buy some colors in Easter sale.

I didn't know the Locust can mount jump jets and MASC.

There are a couple of lore based hero variants that could make it in game, Sawyer and Vandergriff, and from what I remember they are both interesting, and at least one of them has JJs. They are on Sarna and SSW.

Hey, I'd actually like to see PGI's take on the Mackie. I'm actually planning on writing a short story showcasing this mech. After all it was the 1st Mech built, the story is mostly in my head at the moment, need to iron out a few details, and maybe go back and read some of the old books to come up with a suitable planet to set the story on (Thinking somewhere out in the Periphery near the Clan Invasion corridor) as I want to include a mech skirmish between IS and Clan pilots and the Mackie pilot (I'm thinking of playing the retired grizzled mechwarrior angle) gets dragged into the skirmish.

As for their plans for April.. I'm more than happy with just updates to CW, maybe another map or Quick Play mode (I know another was in the works beside Domination). After all I already Blew money on the Kodiaks and Phoenix Hawk.. My poor wallet needs a few months to recover. :)

Wasn't the La Malinche originally supposed to have jump jets? I remember seeing posts about the mech having the unused geo for it, or something along those lines

I might be imagining things though. I do that a lot.

It was, that's why it had gimped weapon hardpoints. After yanking the JJs, PGI forgot to un-gimp the weapons...

At some point it's going to be redundant in-game.

It already is with some mechs, like the rifleman/jager.

Apart from the fact that their hardpoint layout and tonnage are different?
Seriously... The only thing they have in-common is their bodyshape.

Apparently I've broken the textures over time...don't feel like re-exporting and trying to fix.
I stand corrected, I just had the wrong texture selected...who'da thunk.
