First, LRM's are bad. With that being said, you WILL encounter millions of them due to the PGI scheduled LRMageddon event this weekend. This is the first actual scheduled one. There have been three previously that were due to poor programming that broke the game, this one is working as intended.
DO NOT COME HERE AND COMPLAIN ABOUT THEM! There are many ways to counter. You can hide behind buildings and rocks. You can use a Radar Derp module. Many mechs have AMS, Do not worry that you might have to drop a weapon to carry AMS, surviving and helping your teammate is much more important that you getting an extra 40 damage during a match. Load up on AMS ammo, AMS range modules and AMS push (fire rate). ECM counters are nice too. Also, all these missile boats carry ammo, usually in the legs...shoot the legs Johnny.
