Heat Scale Timing Feedback

There needs to be some indication that the time delay for heat scale (0.5 seconds?) has passed.

Take a Nova running 12x ER Small Lasers for example. Each arm fired individually generates about 20% heat. Not bad. Fire them both simultaneously and you're looking at about 150% heat, shut down, and major torso damage. Eep.

A Nova Pilot like this needs to know - with certainty - that they can fire the second arm and not kill themselves. Knowing the interval isn't enough, both because it's a hidden mechanic, and because you can't really count to 0.5 seconds in your head. Especially bad when the consequence of missing the window is so high.

Ghost heat, the unexplained addon of heat that is the combination of silliness and no thinking to balance out things

Yeah. Whether or not heat scale is a good idea is for another day - but if its going to be in, there needs to be more UI feedback imo

I think there needs to be no ghost heat. Heat is heat if people can't learn to deal with it well their doomed.
