[Ex Atlas Overlord]

The challenge: Record a match where you play with the HUD completely disabled. For anyone that doesn't know, you can turn it off with Shift+F11

Not really. I mean, if you can't tell Is mechs from Clan mechs, just wait'll the mechs next to you open up an shoot their targets. I mean, yeah, you might get blindsided with the lack of minimap, but you know, this might very well help with some teamwork training.

A shame you can't 3rd person view in CW as well.

Only scrubs need IFF. Real mechwarriors would let the enemy shoot first, twist the damage, then alpha their face in return...all without a hud

Um.

Real MechWarriors don't alpha strike, only the cheesy-CoD-easybutton crutch crowd does that.

And yet most will optimize their build to fire as large an alpha as possible in a single shot. Never more than two at the most. Chainfire is rare, from what I've seen, but that could change with the new Power Draw mechanic.
