Other than that, I think it's fine. I'm looking forward to getting one!

Keep in mind that those Sarna pics are from the BattleTech card game that had very imbalanced art. Some illustrations were great, some were pretty ugly.
But I quite like that BW picture from the TRO:3050U.

The ideal 8 CSPL / CERSL Build goes on just about anything.

Expect it to be equal to Nova size because of Nova legs and shoulders.
And Nova/Crow arms and legs...
All for eleventybillion dollars!
No thanks. Dark Souls 3 is coming out and I still have last year's birthday money saved for it.

Maybe PGI will offer different hands as cosmetic item for MCs.

So the nose has a basic cutter bow section but the rest of the mech is a drag. No, literally horrible points sticking out all over that will cause drag. Might as well try to push a Warhawk thru the water.

I think iv been very clear about what I want. More than 9 tons of podspace after you strip off an arm.
But slow 40 tonners with only a couple hardpoints aren't good..Slower 40 tonners even with ample hardpoints are worth adding but still won't be as good as the speedy mechs.

If omnis just used battlemech build rules, that is to say, no hardpoint swapping, but inflated hardpoints, unlocked structure, armour, engines, internals, and no fixed components, then you could make the mech go as fast or slow as you wanted, with as much or as little weapon tonnage as you deemed necessary.
This is becoming more a conversation now on the success or failure of omnimech rules in a mechwarrior game. We've never had them before, and incidentally, this is the first game where previously staple mechs, like the summoner, executioner (remember the mw4 gladbag?), direwolf, adder, and other mechs like it, have just kind of sucked.
What makes these mechs iconic isnt that they're clan. It isn't that they're omnimechs either, its that they are iconic by their own virtue. They look cool, they're scary robits, and they would be fantastic if they just built like battlemechs instead. The Omni-vs-battlemech divide only really mattered in tabletop, and in MWO, it seems to have succeeded in doing the exact opposite of what it was meant to do. Omnis, which were supposed to be the most flexible mechs, are without a doubt, the least flexible in MWO.

LegoMech actually means 9xE or 5xE/4xB
Why would one skip the CT Energy Hardpoint? I could see it on one of the models packing 2xCERLL, but otherwise, for vomit builds, seems kind of foolish.
