Solo queue mentality versus group.

Group queue assaults mattered because they were supported properly.

Solo queue...well...PUG Lyfe and all that...

Not only that, but group assaults are actually able to position themselves usually and are quite deadly when done so.

I still think that the Kingfisher F is super pipe-dreamy to expect. Literally mech pack. Prime, A, B. reinforcements pack C and D. all feature tech they don't have to replace and is a far more likely scenario than PGI picking the F giving the clans an ECM 90 tonner and also changing the HAG to a Gauss. Russ said he'd rather not swap tech when he has the option to take other variants. I think before you said two variants where similar so you think they'd skip it for the F but we have lots of omnis with similar layouts variant to variant.

I dunno if I'd keep trying to pitch "Tanky assault with high mounts and ECM" when it's far more likely not to have ECM

Didnt Russ say if they release the Kingfisher it will get ECM, so sounds like it is likely /. possible to happen and dont see why not. Change to current tech and release an ECM assault for Clans too.

I just know I asked him and he said the HAG30 for Gauss swap was possible.

Call it the "Meh, double trouble pack". Buy one, or the other, or both.

I would like someone to link source to that if so. I do not recall it, but does not mean it it is not so.

The A and D literally offer nothing new so why would the release them? I don't think it's that pipe dreamy.

Seriously, look at the hardpoints, A and D offer nothing at all. It would be really stupid to drop both of those instead of the F. Like they aren't similar, there is literally nothing to them, look at them.

D - Ultra AC and ERLL quirks, torso quirks for the empty ST
A - energy weapon heat and ERPPC velocity quirks

again we have plenty of omnimechs where two variants don't offer much in the way of swapping omnipods around, and plenty of mechs that carry almost identical hardpoints (crabs n BKs n QKDs for instance)

which seems far more likely to see more of the same and PGI uses quirks to differentiate as they have?
or them to skip a variant to include one with with weapons outside the game making them change the loadout?

no he didn't and thats why I caution Gas cause he talks like ECM is set in stone if the Fisher gets added and will create a backlash against the mech if they DO release it and if it doesn't come with ECM (Which is more likely than it coming with it following PGIs release record)

Be far better to say Tank assault with high mounts and a variant COULD come with ECM.

For instance as much as I like the Turkina and want to see it Im not gonna say it can carry 6 missile HPs cause the D has ATM12s on it.. far more likely to see prime-C since they all have era tech

Because they were well supported and not left behind to get eaten by the nascar...that was basically the entire point of saying that they are well supported. Posted Image

Since this is the only team game that punishes you for being a team, I like to remove as much liability as I can from my pugs, don't get me wrong I still can perform very well in my dire wolf, but I'd rather be faster and shoot the ground less since MWO still has huge terrain hit box issues. Any mech with high mounted hardpoints > gorilla arms.

I mean I guess nobody knows but PGI, but I think if they wanted to sell mechs they would sell the one with ECM. They have went out of there way to give a hero Archer ECM and a hero Kodiak MASC, seems like less of a leap to forgo one of the similar variants and provide the ECM variant that ALSO provides a 3E right arm and 1B left arm that no other variant has.

Either way, I think they would just not release the Kingfisher instead of releasing it without ECM.

How mad will you be if the Mk. II drops with 70 degree torso twist range?

Seeing as I have arm that protect my sides, and just face tank in my dire wolf I'm quite used to it, So + any torso twist is a bonus compared.

Anyways, back on topic... Posted Image

for the next clan mech, I'd like to possibly see the stone rhino, assuming we don't move up in the timeline.

2 Gauss Rifles, 2 LPL, 1 SPL, and jump jets, going 54 KPH stock. Plus if elited in MWO terms, that means it goes about 57 KPH elited. So a more mobile dire wolf in short.

If we moved up timeline, then TBR MK II. Aside from it sporting hardened armor on the enhanced variant, it could be possible with 3 variants. Touche, I'd also like new tech implemented at the same time, more than the TBR MK II to be put into the game.

Posted Image

still cool though, got used as a icon for MW4: Vengeance. So pretty Iconic mech for a lot, I can understand why Imperius goes after it a lot here on the forums.

When they do a tech upgrade next year, they could add the hero the using the new hardened armor.

The Enhanced is incredibly slow like Direwolf Slow cause of the armor and from like 3080 something,

If they add new tech we can get the 3,4, and 5! The 6 with Harjel III is a question mark. Unless they give it structure quirks to rep the Harjel, we dont need a health kit lol

The hardened armor thoughts like 2x the armor than a dire wolf.

You really want to add that sort of tech? O.o I mean there are a few things that just were game breaking in TT and Harden Armor should be left out IMO.

Weapons (ATM's, MRM's, HAG, Heavy Gauss, RAC's, ect) and a few new comps like light active probes ect. Maybe new engines as well.
