Here is the bottom line, I'm getting tired of pumping money month after month into MWO with little return.

Kind of an assumption on your part, and even then, we shouldn't just see mechs from the old games, they should be making new classics, not just bringing back classics.

Both can sell well. Why do you think the Maruader and War Hammer and other unseen sold well? Cause people remember them from the older games TT or Video game.

The MW4 Vengeance and Mercenary mechs will sell well IMO, well the big big names. The Good IS OMNI's and the Clan mechs (Cougar, Nova Cat, Mk.II) Also some Mech Assault chassis but I am not a fan of Mech assault.

I am aware they can sell well, but again riding on the coattails of prior mechwarrior nostalgia is not something I would like to see. Honestly I would prefer mechs be added that are unique and fit something but that's never going to happen.

That said, some of those nostalgia mechs are going to be horrible, like the Cougar and potentially the Uziel (aka XL deathtrap).

I haven't championed for the Uziel or the Cougar because yes they will not do well in MWO without quirks.

Here is the bottom line, I'm getting tired of pumping money month after month into MWO with little return. I love BATTLETECH way too much (and Alex's art) lucky for PGI. That said I'm getting to the point where I'm tired of buying mechs I have zero use for. If I'm at that point others have long since stopped buying mechs, so now is the time to start hitting us with the top popular mechs,

There will be no new revenue stream added until single player / Co-Op makes it out that's over a year away, so for the next year I'd attempt to keep people interested.

That simple if you don't they may walk. I in no way keep PGI running, but I definitely help, My unit is pretty much gone my friends only buy mechs that are useful at this point (or really hit the nostalgia meter). The well on buying bad mech after bad mech is drying up.

I know how you deal, my most wanted list has shrunk dramatically...

You pick only mechs that are from shortly before Jihad era and after though, there are some hidden gems even within the current timeline (like Vapor Eagle or Black Python). Don't get me wrong, I hope we do eventually get to the jihad era and such (seriously want my celestials), but I'm not in any hurry.

Alex Iglesias did the art you missed my point... I'd like to see PGI make some of their own mechs.

The idea of a fixed clan STD engine repulses me, even if the mech could potentially be cool. The Kingfisher might be a good mech if it were not for the fact that its fixed STD 360 engine steals SO MUCH of its weight.

interesting note is that the stooping hawk still boasts 21.5 tons of space doesn't really lose to much but it is below average in speed and no jamps

Archer, rifleman and Stormcrow are all low like that, with no issues. I don't think my Archer has even taken head damage yet

I don't really see the need for it, plenty of fine looking mechs already existing, last thing we need is the mektek disease spreading to this game.

Sorry I thought you wanted unique mechs added to the game you don't get more unique than mechs created by the master artist himself.

I think most people mean canon mechs that never really got prime time exposure. Like the Vulcan or Charger, for example

This, there is plenty to workaround with existing mechs within canon rather than any PGI-created designs.

Ok so who is supposed to buy these mech and what good reason can you give the buyers they should be in the game other than they were never in any other game. The unseens I understood, but I think that got people too excited to add a bunch of bad mechs to the game that never got the spotlight. If that is the case then how about we add the Omega... why do you think the past trumps the future... implying we can't go back in time just like we did for the unseens and the Viper.
