So the HGN-llC is out for c-bills is it worth the investment?

Seems high at over 10 mil for two variants and just under for the other two but if it's good!

Used to like running the IS version before the nerfs but not so much now, what y'all think?

Get it if you want to have a clan highlander. That is pretty much it, it has no mobility quirks or structure quirks to improve survivability due to it having clan tech even though it and the orion really need quirks.

But overall the majority of people talking about it and the orion say they are crap and to avoid them. I only got the jenner and hunchback when they came out so I can not say if they are good or bad.

Buyer beware.

If you don't like the IS version now, you won't care for the IIC version of the Hig.

I've found the Highlander IICs to be pretty good, but I'm also one that prefers my Mad Dogs over my Timber Wolves... Pilot preference is often a strange thing.

I actually like the Mad Dog as well, did pretty well in it overall. Some mech's are just more fun to run than others depending on your style as a pilot and for me are most often not the meta.

I cannot wait to have them.
I don't care about how they turn out....I'm theoricrafting them since december.

Must be because I "had to" master all my HGN, and I still have them all in my garage Posted Image

As Escef said, pilot preferences are strange; there is no real reason why I should love HGN.....but I love 'em....

Only the jenner iic and hunchback iic are worth it, the orion iic and highlander iic needs quirks badly because they're too huge and blocky and can't do anything as half as good as the IS versions even with the help of clam tech.

I disliked the Orion IIc so much I never tried the HGN IIc's. I just tried to compare them to the Dire Wolf and decided the team would not do well with a fatter big brother of the Orion IIc taking it's place. However, players say they are passable when fully mastered and a real pain until then.

Take the IS-HGN, which is in quite a poor position right now even with quirks.

Now take away all quirks, make it run hotter while giving it a little bit more firepower, and that is about it.

You've still got a 100 ton mech that can't even get off the ground to clear obstacles with its JJ, max engine XL or STD its nothing but slow response SQUISH.
