Hi.

So.. Is anyone else annoyed by the fact that we have to use separate buttons for the regular zoom and the zoom module?

I am..

So here's what I suggest..

Add a simple checkbox in the options called "max zoom preffered" and make it always engage the zoom module (if installed) when the regular zoom is activated.

Then also add another checkbox called "Cycle zoom levels" and make it also engage the zoom module's zoom on the same button like the regular zoom.

In effect this is what would happen: With Max zoom preferred checked, you would automatically go into zoom module when you zoom in.. no special button required. If cycle zoom levels is checked, and you press the zoom button, you would go to zoom module first, then if pressed again into regular zoom and vice versa (zoom in or out)

Basically, this mechanic was seen in MW4 I think.. and it worked.. no need for multiple buttons. Simply treat the zoom module as a better level of the regular zoom on the same button, while also keeping it as a quick-max zoom if you need to.

This would make it a lot easier for players to use the zoom module and regular zoom, since we wouldn't have to key the module to an extra button on the keyboard and would eliminate the use of such a button on a gaming mouse. (not everyone has one you know.)

And since its a checbox in the options, we could still do it with separate buttons if we wanted, for those that just wanna rock that..

Or you could like, you know, bind your mouse scroll wheel to be zoom in and out. Advanced zoom does engage on the 3rd zoom. what are you talking about?

I'm using "max zoom" option. If the module installed it is x4 if not = x2.
