I really enjoyed watching them both. Fun and interesting way to spend the evening with a few beers before playing.
And now I have a much better understanding all the work that goes into texture and camo's... I mean, dammmmnnnnn, more patience than I would have and that's for one mech,one camo!

Doing textures is a lot of hard work, imagine you want to add a new camo in the game - you would have to do a new texture on EACH mech in the game (and that's only one camo!)... You could use the re-visit pass to fix some of the old ones tho Posted Image

And then all the custom geo ones
(Founders (4), Phoenix (6), Urbanmech (1), Clan wave 1 and 2 (12), soon hereos... etc...
Custom geo is a pain in the butt.

I like the mechs looks, but i think the Kody's death head should be above the shoulders. like the Original design. Posted Image

How do you even do that? I find twitch to be completely impenetrable... I literally cannot stand using that website.

Anyone else think the Kodiak's weapon pods on the arms are way too big, not flat like in the concept art? Or is that for a missile variant (missiles in the arms)?

I have been saying that since they first showed the concept art. The whack-a-mole head is just silly, but I think they were worried about it being a easy target and didn't want to change it like they did the WarHammer after people complained about it having a head. Really disappointing if you ask me because it really makes the Kodiak and the Warhammer look silly.

Agreed, the weapon pods do look a little large, but hopefully that will change before all is final.

I think this is the first time I've ever seen someone WANT to effectively lower weapon hardpoints...

The way it is now, the ballistic hardpoint is just shy of even with the cockpit, and the missile hardpoint is above it. There are distinct gameplay advantages to it being the way it is. If we bump the head up, those energy hardpoints are going to feel like the Koala's.

Yeah now that you mention it... the arms in general seem quite wide. (I hope they don't stay that wide)

A lot of people want mechs to be different then what we have in game, reguardless of weapon locations. surprised it took you this long to have it seen the first time. Because it's literally mentioned nearly every time there is a mech announced. For eg the mist lynx, timberwolf, cataphract, black knight, etc...
