Is it at all possible to exchange mechs you've purchased in packs for other mechs of the same price?

The Orion IIC and Highlander IIC are 2 of the most disappointing wastes of hangar space I have ever purchased. They are slow, sluggish, have poor hit boxes, NO weapon synergy (its dam near impossible to hit with all your weapons at once because the torso is so slow its always lagging behind the arms) and besides boating LRMS are just a waste of a team slot. I have tried every configuration under the sun for both of these mechs and they just DONT work. I'd rather have the Hunchback and Jenner from the same package.

No. You can have them cancel an order, then reorder, but not after you've "used" them extensively. So chances are they are yours.

The HGN IIC suffers from Victors Syndrome--a relatively common condition often found in older robits of the male variety. The Ferro Fibrous Foundation for Bipedal Metal Health recommends an annual checkup and lazorscannogram as a preventative measure.

Be safe. Be smart. Get checked! Prevent Victors Syndrome... today!

I've witnessed some greatness with both the orion and highlander IIC variants.

Some mechs just don't work for some people. Posted Image

Did they involve more than 3 lrms?

Or shooting at people that where just completely oblivious?

I actually make it a point to go after highlanderII's when i see them. Its almost always an easy kill. They fire twice and shut down, or their packing nothing but LRMS.

and neither point of which is going to affect their "returnability".

You just get to do like the rest of us and hope someday Quirks makes em viable.

Why DONT they have quirks. After the movement quirks got fixed I loved my Heavy metal all over again. Its actually viable. I can MOVE the torso...the Arms dont take 3 years to get on target so i can drop 3LL/Gauss combos on peoples heads all day and not feel like im driving a Glacier...they HAVE to see these two mechs are under performing horribly.

No regrets or waiting over here, as I didn't buy them.

And the discussion has turned to quirks...

Remember, it isn't quirks that are the solution, they are a symptom of Victors Syndrome! Like the pharmaceutical industry, they only mask the problem and never solve it--because, remember, folks, solving problems isn't profitable!

How do we solve the problem?

Advanced armor systems (6 - 27 torso hitboxes, variable on size)
Convergence changes
Range doubling removed
Power distribution system limits (capacitor overload and slower recharging)
Heat scale

Discouraging boating of weapons systems that can focus fire on a single, easy to hit spot, does wonders! Think of the suffering robits. Donate now to help build a better Inner Sphere!
