Looks interesting. I can only see an upscaled EBJ though...

Probably a Day One purchase for me if it comes out, and I'm not an Assault pilot.

Because of ghetto ISTech, you can only put a single slot energy weapon on each arm if you carry a Gauss there.
The most interesting variant is the 9SS which sadly uses FutureTech (may mean a no go).
EDIT: fixed the chart

I doubt anyone is realyl expecting it since the cyclops probably gets announced this week sometime from existing art. There is still potential for 2 more IS Mechs this year though, so there's that.

Eh, since I don't gauss, I'd be AC10s which get the same issue, sadly. And UAC5s and ERLL/PPC/ERPPC just doesn't sound as fun.
I'm unlikely to go for it even if added because I realyl don't have the patience for Assaults. I just drew it because Arisen asked.

Uninflated hard points do not concern me Admiral, i want that mech.
As we've discussed before, light inflation would fix many of the issues or open things up to builds not centered on gauss rifles.

Yes, it (they) needs HP inflation badly to be viable.

Seriously though, I've always been into dual gauss assaults for some reason so I'm all for adding the Nightstar. It looks like it would be loads of fun to drive even though I'm a medium pilot. Like somebody posted earlier, give me this, the Pillager, Devastator, and Hammerhands and I'm set. No reason to add anything else for me.

There are two lore based hero Nightstars. Either Shelly Brubaker of Wolf's Dragoons or Sandoval, the son of Robinson's duke.
Of course, the hero could also be tied to ComStar as currently they're the ones with Nightstars.
