PGI knows it needs to happen, they just need to get on the ball with this.

After all, how am I supposed to make the best retro '70s (2970s that is) cop sitcom "Vindi and the Dog" for ComStar Chanel 6?

FTL TV Guide:
"Vindi and the Dog"
The St. Ives Blue is a straight edge cop who plays by the rules. His partner, Deputy Dog is a hard nosed cop who makes his own rules and pushes the boundries. Will they get along and work well as a team, or will they tear each other apart (and their chiefs hair out in the process)?

Tune in Thursday nights at 8:00. Only on ComStar 6!

See! Sounds awesome. Come on PGI, we need the Dog!

*snicker* honestly quite a few mechs could use a "Hero" variant. A Grand Dragon hero would be nice (PPC in the arm instead of ballistics). Mind the need to fix PPCs so they don't suck. Plenty of mechs from the old novels would be great for hero mechs, we already have a few iconic ones, Yen Lo Wang, Black Widow, Grey Death, But were's Phelan Kells Wolfhound "Grinner", Kali Macdougals Atlas "Dark Lady", etc? Sure they could make something up, but there are many other famous mechs out there. As for the Urbie.... PGI was being funny, rather see heroes for mechs we actually use first.

'I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire seven shots or only six?" Well to tell you the truth in all this excitement I kinda lost track myself. But being this is a Imperator-Zeta autocannon, the most powerful autocannon in the Inner Sphere and would blow your cockpit clean off, you've gotta ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya, punk?' -- Deputy Dog

Well considering what happened last time they joked about the Urbanmech, Bishop went into over drive on stirring up the inmates into a full on riot until Russ said "Fine, put your money where your mouth is. If you guys meet our goal needed to make it, we will make it." And well we all know how it turned out, Urbanmechs for everybody!

So calling it "Blues Clues" might not work? St Ives Blues and the faithful Deputy Dawg, crime busting?

For the time investment of 1 art guy and 1 guy to make up the hard points PGI would have a solid little money maker.

Not sure if PGI is lazy or just stupid half the time.
