Hi, I thought I'll make a seperate thread for my renderings since I plan to update this very often and add more and more.

I recently decided to try rendering the King Crab in Cinema4D so I got some help getting the FBX and exported the textures on my own.

I'm now trying to upscale the textures to 4K, since I need way more findelity than is provided in the 2K maps. I'm doing this with an own pipeline I made in After Effects to batch process them all.

I'm also combining different camos into new ones and taking bits and pieces of some to make new art with it.

I'm also redesigning (or better upgrading) some assets so they can hold up in close-ups.

I'm also adding and painting my own textures into it.

Like I said, I'll keep this post updated. I also plan to animate the claws and make a video.

Stuff that is still missing and will be added:

- Fire and Smoke effects as well as particle effects
- New normal maps (I just saw that the normal map is not correct and needs to be flipped, sorry for that).
- Wallpapers! Tell me which resolution should I opt for in terms of wallpapers? Whats the most common? I can't make too many different resolutions since such images render hours.
- Cockpit and real cockpit glass will be added!
- Damage-textures!

@PGI Staff: Any way I can get my hands on 4K or even higher-res maps for the KGC?
Or even a 3D model as an FBX which is not full of 5-pole vertices and triangles? Those are really stopping me in getting more fidelity into it. Would really appreciate it! Posted Image

PS: call me a purist, but I would prefer if it had the stock loadout...

LOVE that second photo. It reminds me of some high end ultra-sports car advertisements.

Which would it be? Dual AC20 + what else? I plan to do a Dual AC20 version.

Dual AC/20, LRM15, Large Laser.
(Smurfy can help you find the stock loadouts)

I notice he didn't say "no" to the Cicada, Phil. ;)

If you are taking requests, TexAce, I'll second Phil's Cicada and I'll chime in for a Griffin, Panther, and/or Dragon, and/or Grasshopper.

I suspect these take a bunch of time to do though, so consider that a mech fan's wishlist, little more. How many hours would you estimate you put into those three pieces above?

I would like to see the Marauder, Panther, ShadowHawk, or Atlas too.....you know, since they are not filthy clanner mechs...even if I pilot them once in a while.

Would really like to see the Hatchetman....but you know, not in the game yet.
