I already knew they were going to be there, I think some already knew too, I mean, where else are they going to go? You want them more downwards towards the CT and have some funky junk going on there?

I doubt that'll happen, considering how weapon placement works.

Well of course! How else would you put the icing on the cake of nostalgia? Power Creep.

No wonder why that guy was freaking out...

The issue is the awkward geometry of the missile hardpoint, being affected by something that will never happen... the modeler missed this one.

...will there be another LRM20 where the AC sits?
20 tubes could fit using the same layout.
Seems like wasted space.

This is my answer then:

Like wrapped around it would be good, But I think I know where the M hardpoints going to be, where the shoulder is for that LBX. I think the geometry is just like that for fluff, you know?
I think all our answers should be there when they do the countdown, we get to see the loadouts.

WHY?
WHY wrapped around it?
Missiles and Ballistics at the same time does not happen at the same time on the Kodiak LT.
Do you see Catapult - C4 missile box "wrap around" Catapult - K2 PPC barrels?... no you don't... because despite both of those occupying the same spot... they will never happen at the same time.
now i feel i'm being trolled... how can i explain it more clearly?

Can't wait for a 12 Kodiak Invasion rush o.O

Nah, it's just silly--as newer stuff comes out, the power creep is real. Higher hardpoints, tighter groupings, more mounts... ridge poking powerlords feared! It just gets old, man. All the while our older chassis mope and lather teary wet in bland sullen hangars, afraid to run proud lest swift death split them through, unable to poke but instead jump and yell boo!
It's... comical.
And frustrating.
Because they said over a month ago they were going to do something--something to do with power harness limits etc., and no, not a peep but look! More high mounts with blossoms of depleted metal slugs ready to kiss proud metal with death's abrupt knell.
Anyways... I've been knee deep in stream of consciousness for the last several hours and I digress...

Dammit Navid, I'm not trolling.
I'm just offering what could be, as I see no other way of it being there.

There's 20 tubes inside/behind the AC
There's 20 tubes around that AC/LRM20
There's 20 tubes inside the lower AC
3 missiles hardpoints, with their maximum size.
maybe

Hmm, understandable.

The missile placement is horrific. Visually, at least; obviously META disagrees, but those uppermost guns look almost literally taped on. It's just...ugly. I'd honestly expect better from Piranha's modelers. I know the 'variable geometry' system imposes certain restrictions, but c'mon, guys. C'mon. Guns do not belong taped to the front of the shoulder pauldrons.

if the mech is powerful we complain about power creep.
Do you want the new stuff to suck or be good? I don't understand.

It's pretty typical
See Summoner, Banshee, Thunderbolt
Not the PeaceDove or Awesome, so there are exceptions. Not sure which is the rule...

Yeah this is the part that is amusing.
Look at the artwork on sarna/web.
Look at the the likely hitboxes.
Where else were those ballistics going to go?

I mean yeah. That's Grim Reminder-level meta BallistiGeddon from a mechanical standpoint, but those guns are just ferociously ugly and off-putting. It almost literally makes my eyes twitch.

No way there is 20 tubes behind the top AC ( it simply does not fit, based on the image)
Same for the lower UAC2, no way 20 tubes is behind that.
Unless they are not showing it on the model.... which again makes that missile rack's shape really awkward.
