In the long list of mechs the Clans could use to fill up meaningful variety, the Black Lanner just eeks out the Crossbow.

It is a 55 ton mech, that will be as big as a 55 ton mech, and accordingly as easy to hit as a 55 ton mech. Its speed won't help it much given that size. Further, it only has 11 tons of pod space once you fix how terribly under armored it is. It's just an oversized Ice Ferret.

We have light mechs and even 40 ton mechs that can be selected for the Clans that have 30% more pod space than it. That is incredibly sad. Incredibly sad.

I think he just has a hard-on for the black lanner, nothing wrong with that, I'd like to see additional mechs of my own fancy as well, though, I'm not the one doing the work to implement them and there really isn't so much a specific place to request them for better attention unfortunately. Aside from here that is. Scylla ftw
