What are actually GOOD builds for the three warhammers? Im levelling it atm

This is what happened last night...



6 AC5. I actually cored and killed a dire wold with it cause he decided not to pay me any attention. I was just using my Razer Naga's thumb buttons and rotating my thumb over 6 buttons. It sounded cool as hell. Hey, if youre accused of macro'ing because your mouse rocks, I consider that a compliment lol

7S: STD280, 3 LLs, 3 MLs and 2 SRM6.
6R: XL300, 2 ER-PPC, 4 MLs, AC/10 (meh!)
6D: STD280, 4 MLs, 4LLs (very solid build IMHO)
Black Widow: XL280, Gauss, 2 ER-PPC, 2 MPLs (but I'm not satisfied, I'm still trying to figure out how to use this mech).

heh, I tried 6 ac5 a couple times. It was a beast. Group firing two groups of 3 was devastating... but the sacrifices were too much. I think I had a std 225 and only 6 tons of ammo. Something you'd screw around with in a solo campaign for sure

I dont know what it is with these new mechs (new to me anyways) but other than the archer lrm5 spammer - 5w I think? and The marauder I cant find anything I like

and the ls is kinda weird in that it has ppc quirks and laser ones... and those two dont go together right?

Then again I really like screwing around with the 6 ac2 Jager. First time I ever took that out I hit like 3 kills 900 damage on Canyon with it lol

Didnt we already give you a page or two of warhammer loadouts? It just might not be a good mech for your style.

If you're into wubs and srms like me you could try these builds on the Whammy:

7S: 6Mpls/3 Srm4

6D: 9Mpls.

Both mechs comes with a STD300 engine. :Y

Hmm.. I run my Warhammers pretty much Stock with 2 Exceptions.. and not sure which they are, but one uses 2 LPL and 4 MPL (Been effective), and another with 2 ER LL, 4 ML, 2 MG and a LRM 15. My Black Widow is Stock, saw no reason to change anything and My 6R Just got upgraded to DHS and ER PPC's, but is otherwise stock.

Then again I don't typically use "Meta" builds as I never do well in someone elses build, with the exception of my 5d Spider, which is the Smurfy build, which is close to how I was building mine in the first place and went with the Smurfy one since it was slightly better than mine.

6 ac5s is the actual meta build on the mauler anyway.

I like the "extra" ammo and "extra" weapons you get with 5 ac/5 instead of 6.

Same with the LB30X with 4 MedLas versus the LB40X with not enough ammo.
