[Saint Scarlett Johan]

Join QQ for their first Urbie Derby at ts.qqmercs.com, the event will kick off at 2000 EST (8:00 PM).

There will be a stock bracket and a custom bracket.

By the end of the night, we hope to have whittled each bracket down to a single best urbie pilot!

Everyone and anyone is invited and if you have questions or would like to participate, just post here!


Rules:

Consumables:
-No artillery and no airstrikes
-UAVs and coolshots are valid

Map Rotation:
-Mining Collective
-Frozen City Night
-River City
-HPG Network
-Crimson Straight

Game Mode:
-Conquest, Theta will be only point in play

-will take top half of players in match and they will move on to the next round so the rounds will progress as follows: 8v8, 4v4, 2v2, 1v1
-the bottom half in each will go into a losers bracket and the winner of the loser's bracket will have a chance to fight the winner of the winner's bracket

Will start as team on team and will whittle itself down to 1v1.

So 12v12, then 6v6, then 3v3, then 2v2, then 1v1.

So, are alterations of build/substitution of different Urbies allowed between matches?

Is the usage of consumables forbidden?

Is there any forbidden weapons/modules/equipment?

Is it all going to be on one map, multiple pre-chosen maps, or totally random maps?

Also, one guy I was talking in to joining was curious if you were offering prizes, or if this is for Bragging Rights?

Sorry if some of these questions are stupid; this is the first tourney I've looked at participating in.

I really, REALLY want to sign up for this (Love my Trashcan Hero with AC10), but it's middle of the working day for me..... Might have to see if I can get the day off, Lol.

You can sub out Urbies between matches.

The only forbidden consumable will be strikes.

No forbidden weapons/mods/equipment.

The rotation we're considering is Mining, Frozen City, HPG, and Bog.

Since this is the first, it's for bragging rights. If it takes off in popularity then the later ones will likely feature prizes.

Out of curiosity: if only theta is active, why not just set the game mode to Domination?

Simply to prevent the game from ending after a minute, but to keep it from being a wait fest. It works very well for MRBC, so I didn't want to try to reinvent the wheel.
