I've had a HGN-733C since a long time ago - it's probably one of my oldest 'Mech. While it can do a number of decent builds, it's always able to brawl. The AC/20 cannon certainly helps in this regard coupled with three missile hardpoints. Indeed, mine use the typical IS brawling loadout consisting of a single AC/20 with SRMs.
I used to have a 733 many many moons ago but sold it because I couldn't perform well with it. The recent SRM buff (GH limit) makes me wonder if I should re-buy this baby and take it out for a spin. This is what I have in mind:
HGN-733
Compare it with the HGN-733C:
HGN-733C
If you ignore the medium lasers (they are just for backup and occasional shots), 733C has far superior heat endurance (runs cooler) and thus makes a better brawler. It's AC/20 is also far more devastating when you need to land a shot accurately (think light 'Mechs). But I still wonder if the 733 can pull its weight especially that it can now fire quad SRM6 simultaneously without any negative effect that is ghost heat.
What do you think?
*In before someone mentions Atlas. Yes, I also have them

733C hands down. 733 runs too hot with 4xSRMs+lasers while in 733C the AC20 allows you to be somewhat heat efficient. Also the AC20 has longer reach when necessary. 733 looks very impressive on paper, but not so much on the battlefield.

Also look into a 732B in comparison to 733 both are somewhat similar.
But I would have to say the AC20 on a 733C makes it better one of the bunch.

There's also the flaky nature of SRM hit detection, which may or may not be working depending upon the patch, phase of the moon, ping, etc. The AC20 is more likely to deliver all its damage.
