It's amusing. Lasers basically got where they are to compete with poptarting. Poptarting then got broken to Hoverjets(TM Paul) and things on the weapon front got left as-is.

I don't think this is remotely indicative of when the tournament drops will be held.

Comp drops are typically scheduled by the teams involved anyway.

All i care about is CW solo queue... everything else is just filler.

If PGI can cut CW wait times to 1 minute or less (similar to play mode), then I would say this patch is a huge success.

Two weapon systems got damage boosts above their TT levels. SRMs (IS) and lasers. For example, large pulse lasers do +2 damage over the same weapons in TT- normally, IS LPLs deal 9, Clan LPLs 10. They're 11/13 in MWO. Standard large and ER lasers get an extra +1. IS ERLL's get 75% heat vs. tabletop. (Clantech merely 10 vs 12 heat in TT).

Might be worth pushing back on that a little. Ditto the other lasers, many of which end up hitting above their original weight thanks to various tweaks.
