All this talk of a new IS mech puts me on edge, I keep thinking a decent mech will be announced for IS to help counter the raw power of the Clans but it just doesn't come. Pheonix Hawk seems like fanboy money grab, the Viper is the butt of all jokes and the Cyclops? 90 tons of Mauler does everything better, but I suppose this is the calm before the hurricane, fury fisted storm that is the Annihilator. 100 tons of IS brutality that puts the Dire Puppy in it's place, crying in the corner.

So I'll keep waiting and my wallet grows fatter while waiting for this thing of beauty.

Yeah, with its stock 200 engine, its likely going to suck. Even if PGI really push the boat out on engine cap and give it a 300 cap, its still limited to Dire speeds... if they do the standard engine cap formula and cap it at 255? LOL. unplayable.

There is no definite answer until we see the quirks. King Crab is already a good contender to defeat the Dire Wolf.

The Anni has bad hardpoints tho with most of the weapons below middle of the torso.
