Agreed! Individual performance matters a LOT more in this mode...allowing players more opportunities to "save the day". Posted Image

It is a hell of a lot of fun for units that might not be able to field 12 mans every night too as you can work on lance coordination and hit and run tactics.

We ran a lot of cicadas, yen lo and firestarters and it worked out pretty well. I piloted a CDA-2B with a ton of medium pulse and it would shred a lot of things.

Saw a lot of Crabs too, but the 50 tonners all seemed to be running their 12 man builds and being way too slow to keep up with our fading hits as we sent guys off to find more data.

I think more reward should be achieved via how many data points you get though rather than damage to mechs and such like 12 mans.

Mode is fun, but payout ain't great.

I'm in it for the fun; I'm ok with waiting longer and getting paid less if I'm not pulling my freaking hair out in frustration over poorly matched teams.

I like the fact that if I get teamed up with completely green players in 4v4 we still have a very good chance of winning if I do a good job; Carrying the match is much easier. To me, that's worth it. :)

Dunno how you work it out to like 150k average or think it's a good payout.
My highest was a 4kill, 3 solo'd, +500dmg, serms so spread = inflated dmg numbers and only got 164k. Plus the wait times and all the hiking around. It's quite bad

Downside? 1 single AFK doofus realyl screws your team a heck of a lot more, too.

Not really...I see it as the opposite actually; Even If my team is dead or completely incompetent, I still have a chance of winning because soloing 4 enemies is much easier than 12. lol

To be roughly analogous would have to lose 4 afks in 12 man. And recall that it also means while there are less shooting your way..they also have less targets to worry about. In 12 mans you rarely are in a true 4v1 scenario. In Scout I find it happens very often.

Admittedly, I've never lost a Scouting mission, but I've absolutely averaged 145k without a cbill bonus mech. Every match has been 135k-155k
