[Jun Watarase]

Did a quick check of the last couple patch notes but all i see are minor changes. For example, the Nova still looks like junk, and so do most of the clan mechs (Ice ferret, Mist lynx, etc).

Am i missing something or are they still junk? Did PGI at least fix the broken models of some of the mechs? Like the Nova being huge for a 50 tonner?

I think it's been a couple of months since I last played, there has been lots of improvements right?

They preemptively nerfed some quirks on certain mechs, like the Kit Fox and the Catapult in preparation for their physical downsizing in a couple months.

Which is pretty much par for the course with PGI. Just can't seem to do anything sensibly.

That's correct.

They had originally planned to release the rescaled mechs one at a time as they got them done, but they apparently thought better of it and decided to release all the re-scales all at once so as to avoid the 'this mech just got rescaled so it's going to be better' flavor of the month or whatever.

I actually agree with this decision of theirs, as it will make all the mechs that needed it look better and there won't be any complaints of 'why didn't you rescale this mech before that mech' and so on.

It will create more work for them in terms of re-quirking the mechs, but those are likely .xml variables that can be changed quickly and easily.

He making a joke, but is roughly accurate. Changes were planned to drop in June.

Carl is making a joke/reference to the original estimated delivery date of CW.

"90 days after open beta" I believe it was.
