Map Choice

Is anyone in the Developer Team actually playing this game?
For the Love of God give us new Maps NOW, not only for scouting but in general.
I dont need new Gamemodes, Mechs or funny lore Stuff, if the main Activity in this game is waiting and then playing the same Maps over and over again.
How difficult can it be to build a MAP?
But thank God we got a World Series with 100000$ worth of Prices.
How many months/years could you employ a mapdesigner with that money?

Some new maps would be great. How about releasing a map builder and letting the community build some maps?

We have map votes - if a new map is not perfect for laser skimish there will be no votes - so they can save the time and just bring new mechs and descriptions and strange game modes

Since when is that happening?
The Map developing speed would have been nice at the beginning of the 90´s, but for a modern mmo it´s quite ridiculous.

I played it once, before I opened this discussion.
Maybe its fun for others, but my game was 3 scr and me in a JR2c, against four lights which ran for intel.
I managed to get one of them, while my team tried to kill the rest.
When the Dropship arrived we ran there as fast as possible, but neither me nor my team had any chance of getting there in time.
And after playing for some time i can say my play/wait ratio in scouting is around 25/75 (and that is if you count waiting for the enemy dropship while everybody is dead as playing)

Basically, your problem here is that you need to learn the ins and outs of the mode, better strategies.

Seriously though I have a hard time believing anyone who makes the actual balance choices and map design plays the game significantly, many of the baffling choices make no sense unless made by someone with no first hand knowledge of how the gameplay systems actually function in real play conditions with real players.
Or worse, they know about the issues and just don't care.
