Why Is The Mc So Low

I get that PGI doesn't want to give away too much "free money" but if your incentive sucks nobody is going to care about it.
Imagine if you had kids around the house and you were trying to get them to help out on chores...
"Hey if you do the dishes today I'll give you a prize" -mom
"Oh okay sounds good!" -kid
"Thanks for doing the dishes, here is a pair of socks." -mom
"Thanks PGI!" -kid

And how many units there are.. Over 1 K of Mercs alone.
If they give away MC or make it fair chance for EVERYONE, or just enjoy what you got.
They still could give C-Bills reward to unit Coffer.

here is my prediction
Recruitment fee increase from 50k to 100k
Planet cap doubled
MC reward tripled or quadrupled

My point was that the payout is dumb.
5MC is shared among the unit, it's not 5MC per player in the unit.
I don't even know what the average MC a player gets during an event, but even 150MC for a 50% off Mechbay after an event is far more valuable than whatever PGI is throwing as an incentive for a unit.
Literally, the current value for capping planets in CW is a total and utter joke.
Which is why (if you read above your quote on my post), I proposed a formula for it, to make it more enticing to larger units who play, as well as to smaller units too.
So if we plugged in 100 to my sample equation, then that 100 player unit would get 490 MC a day.

The best case scenario would be that this franchises smaller more hardcore and competeive units due to the MC going further across 20 players than 100s.
900 mc per day may sound silly, until you start dividing it among 100 members+. and that is only if you can consistently keep getting planets before your tags fall off

Why not just drop the planet cap and have diminishing returns on MC rewards?
Planets drop ownership every 12 days anyway, that stops units from "hogging" planets for too long already.

It absolutely shouldn't stretch as far for large units as it does for smaller units.

So every two weeks you get 1260 MC, which is little over the amount of 1250 MC you can buy for about $7.
So that's just one unit. Think about how many units there are overall. I'll throw a number out there, 20 units earning 90 MC every day, that's 1800 MC each day they give out to those who own planets with the max amount of MC earned each day.
So.... that's a lot they're giving out I'd say. and If you just give all the earnings to one person, which some units may do, they can buy hero mechs, Perma paints, paint jobs, and bundles.
dude how sad are you that 7$ matters
i can go walk the streets looking for change on the ground at a better return then the garbage they give us

I'm unsure what the lowest price of one-shot camos happens to be (25MC sounds about right when its on sale), but assuming ideal circumstances (unlikely, but whatever), you would be able to gain a reasonable amount of MC over time to outfit the unit with a unified camo (for 1 mech at a time though).
Still kinda waiting for decals to make a better MC pricing (value) determination.

perhaps, how they do it is not very important
My assumption was basically that PGI was probably going to up the MC stakes to be worth 300-600MC per month per player for a 50-100 player unit
but even then, some people have so much they probably just dont care
We already get 3-5 MC per match in 3 lump sums and several mechbays. People want cbills and mechbays and never will not want those 2 things.

I know, it's hard to process that the fact by increasing 90MC a day by 50 times is 4500MC a day, which equates to about $20 a day, and in a week that's $140 worth of MC.
Sorry If I'm slow, we like to actually think out our responses instead of flying on the go.

if i am playing a game I enjoy (and happen to be reasonably good at) and i am making 15$ a month in MC, yes i am quite happy. if you need more to justify your play, i can't help you. go play real competitive games where actual money can be made

I have done my time as a competitive smash brothers player, i have a good feel for what my time is worth when it comes to gaming

look i know you do not play the game so i will break it down for you
so to get the planets needed and to keep them you need players
lets say and average of 50 people that are playing this like a 2nd job can keep the planets and tags
4500x 30 days is 135000 a month
135000 a months divided by 50 players is 2700 a month per player
30 days premium is only 2500MC
so playing this game like a 2nd job will net you will net you less then 15$ of FREE for PGI to give out currency
if your time if worth that little to get excited by that i really fell sorry for you

its not about the 15$ its about being excited over a cheese burger and fires worth of FREE internet money PGI could give out
