I'm curious if those intake manifolds on the rear of each side torso are all allocated as rear or not, how much of each registers as front side torso, etc... Given how much they stick up, they'll be just as easy to pick off at range as the spoiler on the Jager and Roflman, and that crushes a lot of XL dreams...

Looking at the first picture, I can't help but think the Marauder is too small.

The marauder is fine, as it is massivly bulky from the sides, wich humanoid mechs, are not.

Make those damn antennae angle back instead of straight up.

Maybe the already do. We are looking at them from dead center so the angle of the antenna is hard to make out.

Looking at the first picture, I can't help but think the Marauder is too small... There is a bulk difference between the Phoenix Hawk (45t) and the Gryphon (55t), about as much as I'd expect. Either way I'm keeping my Phoenix Hawks.

Based on volume they look about right to me. Yeah, sure, the PHX seems really tall for a 45-ton Mech, but it's really quite svelt. The Marauder is deceptive because it's so deep, which is where its weight hides.

I'm wondering if they'll be like the Archer doors and not take damage...

No seriously, those things are insanely tall and easy to shoot and if they're not careful, it makes for an easy front/rear hit.

+1

That's how aircraft torso style mechs work. short and squat, but Looooooooooooooooong. Humanoid mechs tall and skinny.

People need to stop looking at JUST height (especially comparing two radically different torso types).

They shouldn't be considered as part of the hitbox but we won't know until after its release.

But if we stop looking at this one aspect and consider the big picture we won't have very much to complain about! Be reasonable, man!

Well if there is one thing at the phoenix hawk that gives me creeps... the Gauss Rifles?
Those should be GaussRifles on a 45t Mech? Just to keep it in mind - those 3 Gauss Rifles weight 45t.

Another thing that was done right (just saying)
