Those JJ intakes on it´s shoulders look bit oversized may cut the height by 1/3... also if they add to it´s STs....hmhm okay nothing that can´t be compensate with good agility and speed, but makes XLs bit more risky..

Legs may be bit closer to the CT "the wide stand" ruins the "elegance" of the design a bit.

Height compared to the Griffin looks ok, "Hunchy reference" would have been better Posted Image

Great chance I'll refund after seeing this.

Since when do all 45 ton mechs, or all mechs, have to be the exact same size? And since when is the bj the ideal metric?
These mechs are made by different manufacturer's on different planets.
I fear when I read these doa threads that some want all the mechs to fit in some homogeneous mold and that's weird and not cool. Probably in the minority, but that's my thought.
And I think the phx looks pretty sweet

Because 45 tons of material is 45 tons of material? Didn't think that had to be pointed out to the rocket scientists around here.

Quit whining. It looks totally allright. The Griff next to him is 10t heavier, so about 20% more volume and it looks exactly as that.

Plus you dont see the other mechs for comparison, nor do you know if all the mechs have been rescaled already or not.

The head is screwed up again. Did they not learn anything?

Can we please make a campaign as with Warhammer about it, to save Phoenix.

Looks pretty much right compared to the Griffin. Marauder hard to compare to as it has immense lengthwise bulk which is not shown.

It looks good even though hips look so insanely over-built. More specifically the thighs compared to pelvis.

I agree with you and yet I must point out this is about vindicator size. Vindi is larger and bulkier than timberwolf in height and limb thickness.

They are doing several downward rescales of heavier Mechs and BJ is taller than 3 out of 5 50 ton Mechs on the I.S. side.

Furthermore, though this point is pretty moot... Tallest mech until 3055 is 14.4 meters in BT. Hunchback in mwo is 13.6, Vindicator is 15+ meters. Centuríon is 14.7 meters in mwo.

This oversize thing is costing the team money as it is in trying to rescale the blunders. To make another is practically a misappropriation of funds.

------

This said I'm all for variance in sizes. But BT had good reason for it (SHK is very short in the 2 and 3 series but look at their armor, now compare to the radically taller SHK 5 series and its armor!)
Mwo doesn't have good reason.

Edit: Android type correction problems.

Cazadin has a point. This might not be a reflection on how huge the PXH will be, but rather how SMALL the other mechs will be? We don't know if PGI have updated their test models to reflect the new scale.

Head looks oversized. Hips could be quite a bit narrower.

Considering that the mech hasn't been released yet, I'm willing to give PGI the benefit of the doubt ...

Change the word "mech" to "game" and you have basically summed up the entire history of MWO.

Hips may seem too wide to some, but it is pretty true to concept. same for the arms, just compare the twitch capture. Also, the model will look different in motion, or its in game stance

Phawk is perfectly acceptable next to that Griffin, thinner shorter really looks spot on scaling wise. can't really look at the marauder since it's a long mech this will be short.

Looks correct to me (especially if you look at the post above where the intakes were shaded out).

I don't typically use XL's in my mediums much but given how this looks I'd agree a little twisting and the arms will shield that tiny side torso perfectly. (this assumes those intakes are not going to be hittable side torso structure...)

Looking forward to getting my 'Hawks!

It also doesn't look very graceful just sort of... standing there in the stock pose. We need footage of it in motion with other mechs of similar size moving near it.

The bloody elbows are resting on its bloody hips. What happened between the orthos and the model PGI? Come on.
