Well, that actually happened 2-3 years ago when some compy schmucks convinced Russ to chase the Esport unicorn.

MWO isn't the game the founders wanted... but it's become the game the current playerbase wants (all TDM all the time) and deserves.

Although personally I consider the game to have been ruined by PGI/IGP cheaping out and using cryengine with its awful awful net code.

Scouting missions seem to work quite well and have a very interesting impact on the Faction Warfare games, best thing to happen to this game in a long time. Though I'll agree the UI and the dropdeck reset bugs are ridiculously annoying.
