Yeah, I know, but I've been mistaken for a PGI employee for two or three times now, so just wanted to get everything on the secure side, before things get out of hand.

For example from this thread:

Guys, just because your a founder, doesn't mean it gives you carte blanche to go busting all the rules.

As with anything, if you break the rules, you get punished.

Penalties in online games range from account suspensions all the way through to banning an account permanently.

I don't care who you are or what you paid, you break the rules, expect to reap the wirlwind.

All companies do it, just because it is FTP, doesn't mean these guys can't.

That means if you breach NDA / Terms of service whatever, your account can be and I would expect it to be, perma banned.

And there is not a damn thing you can do about it guys, because you signed on the dotted line and all this talk about courts and crap is exactly that....CRAP

If companies such as Blizzard, Sony, and MS can perma ban accounts for breaches of the user policy, then you can expect the same, and with them, you actually pay for the game as well as the game time.

You can try and get your money back, luck to you if you try, but your going to loose!!

Ah, just wanted to say you're doing a great job Faenwulf.

Btw... quote from Paul saying there are currently no weight limits in missions can be found here:

And also, I can't see your banner for some reason. It gives an error message from pic-upload.de "site don't allowed"

your right there are rules. Problem is that during the purchase process at no time does the it expressly state.... you will be required to sign an NDA to benefit from one of the key selling points (early access to the game on August 7th). Not a huge deal unless they fail to refund that money when they ban you or when you refuse to sign the NDA. If they keep the money and don't let you in at that point the run into a problem with laws preventing what is called bait and switch (where you offer one thing, collect the money and deliver something materially different). Just like we don't want to run afoul of an NDA they don't want to run afoul of that.

@BenEEeees

Thanks for the compliments.
For me, my banners working. If there is somebdoy else who has problems viewing it, please PM me.

To the Rest of the Discussion:
I am fine with a NDA, sicne now Foudners is officially Clsoed Beta for sure (or so it seems) but still everyone who can't or won't sign an NDA can just wait until Open Beta and get their stuff then, like everybody else.
Seems to be fair to everyone, I'd say.

$50 whole dollars? How did they ever recover?!

Also, I think the NDA probably will last until August 7th, if not shortly before then. That way people will have time to be exposed to the game and see if they wanna fork out 30, 60, or 120 dollars.

To-may-toh / To-mah-toh...

Fifty-thousand (U.S. dollars)

  • The 10th resolution of CGPM in 2003 declared that "the symbol for the decimal marker shall be either the point on the line or the comma on the line." In practice, the decimal point is used in English-speaking countries and most of Asia, and the comma in most of Latin America and in continental European languages.[21]
  • Spaces may be used as a thousands separator (1000000) in contrast to commas or periods (1,000,000 or 1.000.000) in order to reduce confusion resulting from the variation between these forms in different countries. In print, the space used for this purpose is typically narrower than that between words (commonly a thin space).
