A) This is what shows for a "mercenary" unit on a seven day contract... In game !!! On the scoreboards.....

B: This is what should be displayed. Basically, I will play CW FW when this shows in the actual match, as it is indicative of "mercenary". Whereas A) is indicative of "loyalist". (and B should not be where A is, the Merc Corp badge alone should be at A)

Fix that, PGI, and I play CW FW. I will bring the unit in. It should not be hard to do.

For all you that wanna diss on me for this, read the link in my sig before you start.....

Thanks to Hades Trooper for the image and information..... (without which I would not have considered the game mode)

Just my take on things.

And yes, it is that simple.

And a point in edit...... Would be nice for the forums too....

Question is, will this still be recognizable on the scoreboard with those 16x16px tiles? Same problem with the badges I think.

However, a distinction for a hired merc and a loyalist is a good idea.

some people have a lot of merc pride, surely i can't be that hard to make a small change so make a distinction between loyalists in a match and contracted mercs

So what's been preventing you to play FW/CW is a tiny flag...

I'm sure PGI wil be as thrilled as we, players, are by that inspiring and mature revelation.

I mean I agree with you on the distinction of mercs versus loyalists, but if this is what is keeping you from playing CW, you're in for a whole lot of disappointment once you do.

Something like that was suggested and asked for at least as far back as before unit creation came in (approx 2 years now). I should know I suggested it and i may not have been the first.

Still waiting,

However pouting and stamping your feet wont get you any closer to a result.

And I pointed out that some people started separate accounts for IS and Clans and how that enabled them to skirt the penalties for switching factions (no early term fee, no wait time, etc.) and even asked Paul during one of the town halls.

It fell on deaf ears.

While not THE reason I stopped playing CW, it is one of the reasons.

pay me. Pay me significantly more to wait in a queue for for FW, whether it's scouting or getting stomped as part of a pug versus a unit, I don't mind, but it's simply not worth anyone's time until the rewards are worth more than just hitting the quick play button.

Also the MC rewards for units are ******* pathetic and in no way match up to the effort, organisational, and time constraints CW demands. Hitting the planet cap is enough to what, give one person a month's premium? Don't be so ******* miserable PGI, give something back to the diehard roleplaying mechdads that have put disgusting amounts of money into your game.

Top flight clans occupying capitals in WoT literally make a hundred more times worth' of $ from FW than you're offering here and it STILL only incentivises a tiny fraction of the population to take part in the game mode.
