The domination location favors one side way too much. One side gets all sorts of cover while in the circle. The other has to wedge in one small valley spot or behind a tiny building. Enlarging the circle a little might help the situation.

Not that you're wrong in anyway, because you aren't, but Grim Plexus isn't even the worst map. River City and Crimson both trump it easily.
Domination has a lot of potential. The problem is the balance of the maps. At least half of them greatly favor one team over the other due to the placement of the circle.

The new location on Alpine is still horrible too.

Randomly moving circle = more variety in game play.

Could be neat if there was a semi randomized placement of the objective area. Perhaps each map could have three possible objective locations to give variety to the game mode

I feel the opposite is true: a smaller capture area would make domination much more interesting, and solve the cover while capping problem. Moving the cap points to some place other than where the fighting usually happens in other modes might help too. The Epsilon peninsula on Crimson Strait, for instance.

I've only played domination a few times but I feel the same way. Some of the spots favor 1 side highly. And honestly it felt exactly like skirmish, but you have to stand in the circle when you kill the other team. Smaller circles that would dissappear once captured would be cool. That way the fight wouldn't be stagnant. PGI made a very pretty game but they're as effective as a girl scout in the octagon when it comes to making a game mode.
