I do however question the fresh assault with plenty of ammo...but I guess Alpine can explain that.

Someone in the video shouts that out over VOIP.
The enemy team has 748 points and 3 caps and is maybe a second or so away from victory when I get my 6th and final kill.

I had the mech built for CW (hence the butt load of ammo), but was using it for a regular game anyway.

Why on earth do you stand still with a jenner as the last mech when you team has 748 points in conquest and you still have caps? Its Alpine, not like there is a lot of places to hide or run along.

I don't have much interest in mechwarrior these days. I was going through some old videos, decided to upload this one because I got a laugh out of it. Indeed, they would have won with the new rules, I had a very similar match today where the enemy won in a very similar scenario.

Without the rest of the match on video it's hard to say, but I'm certain he felt 'pinned down' his previous attempts at maneuvering were met with enough firepower to nearly kill him. I don't think he was expecting me to have time to charge his position. I think he was more worried about dying the second he was no longer covered by that hill.

I absolutely agree, it's a shame I wasn't recording the entire match. Only the first four seconds are really relevant, it took me the other 26 to go, 'Oh yeah! I can record the last 30 seconds with a push of a button!'

Because generally 'shooting robots' doesn't win the match with less than a second to spare. I snatched a victory from the jaws of defeat.
